A leading financial services association is looking for a Business Analyst to join their transformation programme in charge of creating a new banking infrastructure. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically astute, determined, and reliable Business Analyst who has strong experience in Payments and Banking, particularly with BACS. The hiring manager describes the role as:

"A critical hire for the team in ensuring that all requirements are gathered in a timely manner for strict deadlines to be met. We are looking for somebody who is a professional and accomplished BA with strong BACS and Payments knowledge."

 

To successfully deliver in this high-profile position, you will need to have:

  • Experience working within or closely to the BACS payment scheme either in a bank or payment service provider (PSP).
  • Extensive knowledge of the BACS scheme as well as general payments infrastructure. 
  • Experience in gathering business and functional requirements for greenfield / new payments systems or other forms of payments technical architecture. 
  • Evidence of professional engagement with senior stakeholders across client organisations as well as with external third parties. 
  • Proven ability to collaborate with a team.
  • Proven ability to meet strict deadlines.

 

A little more information about the role:

  • Working with a close team of 7 individuals reporting into a Senior Project Manager. 
  • Gathering business and functional requirements from multiple stakeholders internal and external to the client organisation as well as the current systems in operation.
  • Formatting and presenting requirements with appropriate level of detail.
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders from leading banking, payments, and regulatory bodies. 
  • Supporting team with ad hoc requirements when critical.
