An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated applicant to join the Banking Book Market Risk team within Lloyds Banking Group. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team in a changing and challenging environment, which offers considerable scope for personal development. This team's main aim is to provide robust and informed challenge to the first line of defence in relation to risks affecting the banking and trading book.

This is a "consultancy style" market risk role, with significant business partnering of both divisional and Group Corporate Treasury areas, encompassing all aspects of market risk within the banking book. You'll interact closely with divisional finance teams, business and Group Corporate Treasury to enhance understanding of the full end to end business process, the associated market risk touch points and how market risk can be identified, measured and managed to mitigate those risks.

You'll have the opportunity to provide consultancy and assistance to the business functions to ensure risk management remains fit for purpose and you'll also assist in market risk oversight within the banking book activities arising in Group Corporate Treasury and Banking Group divisions

You'll have excellent knowledge of banking book market risk and wide ranging experience in balance sheet management, market risk management of inherent business risks, stress testing and key NII drivers of the Divisions
