An overseas bank is seeking a credit analyst with a focus on structured commodity finance.

Overview:

Minimise the Bank’s credit-related losses by identifying and reasonably measuring the credit risks and mitigants in proposals, reviews etc.

Make clear recommendations to Credit Committee, in accordance with the Bank’s credit policies, regarding the acceptability of particular business deals from a credit perspective whilst maintaining an independent and objective view within the credit process.

Assist the Head/Deputy Head of Credit Management in monitoring, identifying and reasonably measuring credit risk within the Bank’s asset portfolio.

Draft and present credit proposals to Credit Committee, maintaining an objective and independent view within the credit process, in accordance with the Bank’s credit policies.

Perform credit review and research of industry/customer-related information for all
new proposals and (on at least an annual basis) for existing customers.

Experience:
Ability to write clear and concise reports culminating in a firm recommendation.

Past experience across various industrial sectors would be an asset.

Knowledge of structered commodity deals
