Commercial Bank seeking permanent Credit Risk Analyst paying up to £35k

A North London-based international bank is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

The Bank
With an established presence in the UK, this bank focuses on commercial lending to SME clients and property finance. It is both PRA and FCA regulated and is growing due to consecutive successful performances. The bank offers great work/life balance and provides an excellent environment for candidates to develop professionally.

The Role
Whilst the role is primarily Credit Risk focused, there are also responsibilities encompassing Market and Operational Risk. Overall responsibilities include:

  • Analysing the bank's credit portfolio; identifying trends and changes that could effect performance
  • Promoting best practice in the bank and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Compiling monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports to senior stakeholders and committees, both internally and externally
  • Review exposures and manage daily risks around interest rates, liquidity and FX


You
Successful candidates will have experience working in the financial services industry in a regulated environment. You will be a proven team player seeking to support the risk managers of the bank. Ideal candidates will also have a high proficiency in Excel with the ability to use V Lookups and manipulate data.
