You will be the first hire into the London Core team within this HFT which is based in NYC and London. Huge focus on the technology, in an open-source friendly environment and where programmers are the #1 asset.

Key words: C++, Linux, software developer, software engineer

The company:
They are a mathematically focussed technological HFT, who pride themselves on a work environment that comfortably blends the laid back feeling of a dot-com, the imagination of a start-up, the excitement of a trading floor and the intellectual stimulation of a think tank.
Their distributed system combines cutting edge tech with industry leading levels of latency and throughput, and unlike some trading firms, they embrace, research, use and contribute back to open source.
Programmers report only to other programmers, with the partners running the company are highly technical and actively program within an extremely casual environment.

The work in the Core team will be focussed on machine-level issues; like making networking code faster and more robust.
