IT Analyst Programmer Graduate level role has become available in our Market Risk, Finance and TCM IT team, based at our London offices. The role falls within the Finance and Risk Run-The-Bank (RTB) team, reporting into the RTB Technical Lead.

Job Purpose

Working within the Technology Finance, Risk and TCM team focusing on both ‘run the bank’ and ‘small change’ IT system activity. You will be involved in any day to day Regulatory Reporting systems issues, or changes, and re-engineering the legacy systems. This will involve working in close partnership with the Regulatory Control team and IT support teams to specify, prioritise and test any small scale enhancements.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

· A degree (Computer Science or equivalent)

Experience required to successfully perform the role:

o Experience of working in a regulated environment, ideally Financial Services

Proven track record of:

o Software development and support.

o Business analysis. o Supporting a large system.

o Providing solutions to users.

o Establishing a good working relationship with other IT teams.

o Problem solving. Knowledge, technical skills and expertise o Software development in a Microsoft environment. (E)

o SQL / Relational Database (any flavour). (E)

o Including writing/maintaining complex stored procedures (1,000+ lines long).

o ASP.NET. C# (D)

o Good general knowledge of enterprise IT issues, including:

o Batch processing.

o Change control.

o Microsoft office applications.

o General IT skills/understanding outside the Microsoft environment. (D)
