For an established professional wanting to develop their career in investor relations in private equity. You’ll be at the centre of this fund’s investor relations team and support the Senior Partners with all aspects of IR.

Our client is a private equity fund based in London that invests in buyouts and growth capital. They are gearing up to raise their third fund which is expected to be a very successful process. Today, they are an established name in the industry. The investment team has an excellent track record and their portfolio has some outstanding investments.

The fundraising team consists of Senior Partners who require a high calibre professional to support them with their day to day fundraising and client management mandates. This is a dynamic and varied role where you will be given a lot of responsibility and autonomy.


  • Work with internal teams to prepare fund raising materials: PPMs, DDQs, track record material and any other necessary IR documentation
  • Oversee investor meeting coordination: prepare marketing materials for roadshows and on-site meetings and ensure all follow up materials are delivered accordingly
  • Liaise with placement agents and internal teams to coordinate IR processes
  • Post fundraising, this person will be fully involved in managing relationships with LPs by providing update reports and managing bespoke requests
  • Work on the content for AGMs and advisory board meetings
  • Support future business development efforts and ongoing management of the CRM system


  • Significant experience within the in-house investor relations team of an independent alternative assets fund manager is essential for this role
  • Candidates must also have experience servicing blue-chip institutional alternative assets LPs
  • Experience in an IR role in asset classes contiguous to private equity (eg hedge fund) highly desirable
  • Prior direct experience in both private equity and private debt investing teams required
  • Demonstrable project management and senior stakeholder management experience
  • Flawless written and verbal English – able to converse confidently with senior level professionals both internally and externally
  • Faultless accuracy and attention to detail
  • A first class grade or 2.1 from a top university required
  • MBA from top class business school required


  • Base salary range: £100k-£120k+
  • Bonus: competitive with market, dependent on individual performance
