The ideal candidate must have background experience in financial services having supported financial applications (regulatory compliance solutions) in a presales/consultancy capacity. The role is expected to be supporting pre sales activity for the EMEA region and provide subject matter expertise related to MAD II and MifiD II regulatory compliance requirements. The solution specialist will work closely with the sales, product management and other groups to create value for our clients through in depth sales support discussions around market trends, regulatory landscape and product functionality demos. The candidate should be software system savvy and should carry knowledge and familiarity of market abuse, employee monitoring and suitability regulatory reporting requirements for EMEA regulators.
Typical activity breakdowns:
•Answering to functional and technical queries of RFIs and RFPs.
•Assisting Sales teams in responding to sales related queries.
•Generating pre-sales support documents.
•Performing presentations and demonstrations of the software solutions to prospects and clients
•Build and maintain use case and demonstration setups of specific software modules
•Preparing and conducting product workshops and/or proof of concepts on clients/prospect sites.
•Proactively engage in business development efforts, and work closely with product and marketing teams to build thought leadership content, marketing campaigns and sales collateral.
•Track regulatory updates and provide summarized write ups for internal product and development teams to keep them abreast of upcoming regulatory changes and provide regional/global insights through research
•Assist sales team during the sales process
•Experience in selling and supporting financial regulatory compliance solutions
•Strong knowledge of MAD II, MifiD II requirements and familiarity with regional EMEA regulatory requirements for market manipulation, insider trading, suitability monitoring, employee personal trading monitoring
•Awareness on competitive solutions such as Actimize, SMARTS (Nasdaq OMX), Star Compliance, Thomson Reuters
General degree in IT fields is valued and greatly enhances the candidate’s credentials. Industry accreditations and affiliations would also greatly enhance the candidate’s qualifications.

•Comfortable working in a being flexible role and temporarily work outside of strict role definitions
•Ability to interact with all levels of a prospective customer’s organization and internal teams, especially technical and compliance staff
•Flexible regular after-hours (evening) conference meeting with regional teams
•Must be prepared to travel
