GIA's structure consists of divisional and functional audit teams throughout the world, reflecting UBS's business structure. We are looking for an exceptional professional to join our Governance, Supervision, Legal & White (GSL&W) Audit team as a Senior Audit Manager. In this role you will leverage your knowledge to plan, perform and report the results of audits over governance, supervision, legal and Too-Big-To-Fail as well as related operational risks cross-divisionally. You will further provide input for your area of expertise to other audit teams globally

It also provides all logistics and support functions including operations, information technology, human resources, corporate development, regulatory relations and strategic initiatives, communications and branding, corporate real estate and administrative services, procurement, offshoring and treasury services such as funding, balance sheet and capital management

Group Internal Audit (GIA) is an independent function that supports UBS in achieving its strategic, operational, financial and compliance objectives. We do this by assessing key processes as well as governance, risk management and the control environment within all business divisions and Corporate Center functions globally. We are independent in our work and report directly to the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee.

We are looking for an exceptional professional to join our Governance, Supervision, Legal & White (GSL&W) Audit team as a Senior Audit Manager. In this role you will leverage your knowledge to plan, perform and report the results of audits over governance, supervision, legal and Too-Big-To-Fail as well as related operational risks cross-divisionally. You will further provide input for your area of expertise to other audit teams globally.

Your main responsibilities are:
- Acting as an expert within the audit team and GIA for either governance, supervision, legal or Too Big To Fail.
- Developing a forward-looking view for your aera of focus including related operational risks across the firm and providing high quality input into the annual planning and continuous risk assessment processes.
- Supporting issue assurance as well as audit inventory processes for the assigned area of focus.
- Driving the audit coverage for the aforementioned areas. In related audits your role will be either Responsible Auditor, team member or subject matter expert, depending on the audit.
- You will also have the opportunity to work on audits across the broader Risk & HR Audit team, such as Compliance and Operational Risk, Project Management, HR, Credit and Market risk. In these audits, you will identify and evaluate the effectiveness of controls designed to address those risks, provide practical, innovative, and value-added solutions to issues identified, and prepare reports of audit findings for UBS senior management at local, global, functional and Group levels.

Requirements:
- You have gained strong experience either in audit, internal control functions or relevant business functions within the financial industry.
- You have in-depth experience of governance, supervision, legal or Too Big to Fail.
- You have an in-depth knowledge of the global regulatory environment, especially in relation to governance, supervision, legal and Too Big to Fail.
- You are a flexible and committed team player, experienced in executing global audits, and willing to travel to other UBS locations for audit assignments when necessary.
- You are willing to embrace the challenge and learn required or additional skills quickly; and you are experienced in building new and broadening existing relationships.
