Senior Credit Risk Analyst - Mandarin Speaker
Commercial Bank seeking Mandarin speaking Corporate Credit Risk Analyst paying up to £55k
A growing international bank is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join their Credit team to help assess the credit applications of their commercial clients.
Based in the City of London, this bank has a wide global reach and reputation. In a flat structured environment, candidates can expect plenty of interaction with senior management. It is a great opportunity to join an organisation with ambitious expansion plans.
Situated within the Credit team, this is a middle office function but works closely with the front office; attending meetings with clients and having more influence earlier in the credit cycle. This role sits on a desk covering Chinese counterparties so fluency in Mandarin, both verbal and written, is essential. Further responsibilities include:
- Review credit applications for corporate clients to identify suitable levels of credit risk
- Prepare credit recommendations in both English and Mandarin
- Assist in the development and maintenance of credit policy and procedures
- Produce annual reports on all clients in your portfolio
Successful candidates will be fluent in both English and Mandarin and will have a proven track record of credit analysis in the banking industry. You will have an adaptable approach to identify where improvements can be made to the bank's processes. You must have experience of working with corporate counterparties; knowing the risks that may appear within each proposal.
