Within the Conduct, Compliance & Operational Risk (CCOR) team we seek to enhance control and enable sustainable growth for Lloyds Banking Group through delivery of proactive support and constructive challenge to the business. We have responsibility for business oversight and assurance activities in relation to Conduct & Compliance, Operational Risk and Financial Crime, while implementing the Conduct Strategy, managing the People Risk Agenda, liaison with the regulators and managing Insurable Risks for the Group.
As the Senior Manager Payments, CCOR you'll be part of the 2nd-line CCOR advisory team for Payments, reporting to the Head of Payments, CCOR. The changing regulatory environment and focus, makes this an exciting time to join one of the fastest growing areas in the financial services industry and contribute to the Group's vision to be best bank for customers.
With support from the Head of Payments, you'll be accountable for providing oversight and management of conduct, compliance and operational risks and the associated control landscape within Payments. This will include the oversight of risk management processes and governance including the Operational Risk Framework.
You'll provide proactive advice, constructive challenge and focussed specialist compliance advice to the business taking into account business/ customer needs, external best practice and regulatory requirements. You'll have accountability for the management and reporting of material conduct, compliance, and operational risks with oversight of incidents, events and breaches, whilst providing thought leadership and challenge to the business on material risks.
You'll respond to a wide range of complex enquiries, ensuring that the information provided is clearly understood by the business, while reviewing and analysing key external trends and influences to ensure that a wide range of information is used to support the development of compliance strategies ensuring these are in line with the planned overall business unit/ Group strategies.
You'll have the opportunity to support the design, development and implementation of new/redesigned processes, systems, information, documentation and supporting materials ensuring changes are fully communicated and understood by all interested parties. In addition, you'll actively develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of key customers, suppliers, colleagues and peers to obtain/exchange information, identify best practices, ascertain customers future requirements and where appropriate, respond to changes in the internal and external business and regulatory environment.
You'll ensure compliance with the Bank's procedures guidelines and reporting requirements as well as any relevant regulatory and statutory requirements and you'll review business compliance reporting and MI, identify and escalate key business compliance risks and issues.
We'll require you to understand Payments key processes, customer journeys, Scheme interaction, knowledge of Market Operations and Trade within that Business Unit as you'll work closely with the Control Function in Group Operations in an open and collaborative way. You'll deliver proactive support and constructive challenge in a complex Group within a fast moving external environment whilst building strong working relationships across Group Operations and Risk Division. You'll need to be an excellent communicator (verbal and written) and will be expected to provide high quality presentations to the Group Operational Risk Director and senior stakeholders within Group Operations.
Strong relationship management skills is key as you'll be expected to support and challenge senior executives within the business, demonstrating a thorough knowledge of operational, compliance and conduct risks within financial services.
