My client, a Tier 1 investment bank, is looking to hire a Lead Technology Manager to lead the global engineering team in delivering state of the art unified communications services and technologies.

The team's main goal is to eventually build out the next evolution of the Skype for Business platform and supporting technologies including compliance capture and integration with telephone and video conferencing backbones. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing product management, engineering and integration of all services in the scope of unified communications, both existing and new.
  • Ensuring alignment with architecture and execution of phasing, delivery approach and technical solutions.
  • Aligning to COO innovation functions on start up/innovation partner engagement for services within the unified communications space.
  • Ensuring engagement with other technology teams to ensure the platform is fit for purpose, cost effective and adheres to the engineering standards and communication policies in place.
  • Documenting and presenting detailed technology places in architecture, CIO and stakeholder forums.
  • Completing handover requirements for the transition of components and services to production support.
  • Ensuring engagement with other technology teams to ensure the platform is fit for purpose, cost effective and adheres to the engineering standards and communication policies in place.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

  • Excellent in-depth commercial experience in the delivery of Skype for business on premise and online solutions including enterprise voice in a large Enterprise environment.
  • Excellent track record of managing large development teams.
  • Excellent commercial knowledge in adopting and using agile software development lifecycle methodologies on large enterprise grade deliverables.
  • Strong practice knowledge of Microsoft, Cisco, Avaya and Oracle Session Border Controller products together with their integration with Skype for Business.
  • Technical background with experience on multiple technologies including knowledge of H323/ SIP, AD, LDAP, XMPP.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products and technologies and their integration with Skype for Business, including ADDS, Azure DirSync, Azure AD Sync/ Connect, Powershell and Office 365.
