The Role. The job holder will be accountable for delivering technical requirements within the performance management team as well as providing analysis and insight in order to drive efficiency within Aldermore. The role will involve liaising with senior stakeholders in order to identify areas for improvement as well as then driving performance improvement and reporting upon benefit realisation. The role holder will be a technical subject matter expert within the team and maintain and enhance the current performance management toolkit ensuring reporting is up to date and accurate.

Key responsibilities include:
•Accountable for maintaining and improving SQL Integrated Services package that loads all performance management data and ensuring data is up to date and accurate
•Accountable for delivering daily self-service performance reporting driving performance improvements across the bank
•Provide insight to business line senior leadership teams on current performance and recommendations for improvements
•Responsible for delivering all aspects of a performance management framework
•Work in close partnership with IT and MIS to leverage most appropriate and sustainable solutions
•Responsible for ensuring all data is gathered, stored and used in accordance with internal data governance polices
•Responsible for ensuring data gathering and reporting is robust and exhaustive procedures are put in place to ensure data accuracy and integrity
•Support the introduction and ongoing management of a continuous improvement culture including capacity planning reporting.
•Accountable for providing insight to the business lines including recommendations in order to deliver tangible cost/efficiency savings
•Responsible for creating and delivering bank wide Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD) metrics up to EXCO that link to strategic objectives
•To maintain an awareness of IT and information security related issues and ensure personal compliance with the Aldermore IT Security Policy & procedures is upheld
•An understanding of the regulatory environment commensurate with the role
•Adhere to Conduct Risk principles and practice, with the fair treatment of customers at the heart of everything we do

•Analytical skills – Able to analyse and interpret key facts across a spectrum of data sources, providing stakeholders with clear and concise recommendations and reports
•Proven stakeholder engagement experience, including experience of working with senior leaders
•Problem solving / Decision making skills - ability to decide, under pressure, the best course of action required to solve a range of problems from complex queries to technical issues
•Communication and Interpersonal Skills – Communicate clearly and concisely, tailoring content and style, with ability to make a positive impression on others
•The ability to work unsupervised for extended periods of time, with a high degree of self-motivation / drive
•Administration Skills - Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy whilst working to tight deadlines and able to adapt in a changing and demanding environment. Ability to manage and organise multiple work streams / tasks simultaneously

Other Skill Set/Capabilities:
•Experience in delivering KPI’s
•In depth knowledge of data gathering and data warehousing
•Advanced knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
•Advanced knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
•Advanced level of MS Excel usage including VBA
•Demonstrable analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools
•Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
•Energy and enthusiasm to drive towards results
•Proven track record of delivering appropriate depth of analysis in a fast-paced environment
