Assistant Director, Principal QA Engineer

Duties: Design, develop and implement performance testing strategies, plans, scenarios, scripts and status reports for products and implementation projects. Determine performance testing approach in technical architecture and design projects, ensuring adherence to system/software product standards, processes and procedures. Monitor business applications architecture and technologies to ensure systems are at optimal resource utilization levels. Review non-functional requirements for testability and consistency and provide technical feedback to gauge service level objectives. Lead performance testing implementation and performance testing resources for multiple concurrent agile projects across global locations. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders from product development, architecture, and QA teams to identify performance requirements and orchestrate validation of the same. Design, develop and execute test cases to evaluate system performance for existing and new features. Work with IT and Operations teams to design, build and troubleshoot performance test environments.

Requirements: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related quantitative field plus 7 years of progressively responsible experience in Performance Test Engineering including 4 years leading IT projects. Must have experience with Performance testing tools and frameworks, including HP Load Runner, Performance Center and JMeter. Must have experience with performance diagnostics, profiling and monitoring tools. Must have experience with web technologies including Java, .NET and C#. Must have experience with QA performance testing processes and methodologies. Must have experience with all stages of Performance Testing Lifecycle including managing performance test deliverables and milestones. Must have experience with performance tests including Load, Stress, Volume, Scalability, Reliability, and Capacity.
