Interactive Brokers Group, LLC (IBG LLC) seeks a Programmer for Legal and Compliance Department of a brokerage and trading firm at our headquarters in Greenwich, CT.

Responsibilities :

The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years experience and will:

  • Develop, test and maintain software
  • Develop and maintain web-based systems.

Qualifications :

  • Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Information Technology is required.
  • Knowledge of Unix or Linux command line operations
  • Knowledge of at least one dynamic language such as Python, Javascript, Ruby, Perl, R or PHP
  • Some familiarity with SQL
  • Basic knowledge of MS desktop applications
  • Willingness to learn new languages such as Go, Python and Perl.
Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity with object oriented design principals
  • Familiarity with data base normalization
  • Familiarity with test-driven development
  • Familiarity with algorithms and data structures
  • Interest in financial services industry
