Founded in 2013, Consulting Americas works closely with BNPP’s executive management and senior leadership to: design and implement high-level, strategically important projects, and shape the development of the Bank in the region (US, Canada, and Latin America). The team—comprised of two rapidly growing sub-teams: Consulting Americas Strategy and Consulting Americas Operations—is now formally expanding into Regulatory consulting.

Consulting Americas Regulatory works with the region’s Compliance, Risk, Legal, Function, and Business leadership on the high priority design, development, and implementation of Regulatory initiatives. Relevant engagements include rapid response to Regulator feedback and implementation of operational changes in light of new regulatory frameworks


The teams are highly collaborative internally across Consulting Americas and externally with clients within the Bank. Engagements can span multiple business lines, functions, and/or regions within various BNP Paribas entities such as: Corporate and Institutional Banking, Investment Solutions and the US retail bank, Bank of the West.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative approaches to problem solving
  • Mentor and develop junior colleagues
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Prepare and participate in presentations and interviews
  • Perform market research and data analysis
  • Provide core PMO support (e.g. project planning, status reporting, issue lists)

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Finance, Management Consulting, or Project Delivery role
  • Some mix of experience with a Regulator, in a regulatory-related role in a Corporate and investment bank, or leading regulatory-related projects within a Consulting practice prior to business school
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
  • A proven desire to work in the financial industry
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to respect deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry knowledge, including awareness of regulatory standards and familiarity with risk, regulatory, or finance topics
  • MBA preferred
