As markets evolve, Aladdin's risk management toolset continues to expand. The Client Analytics Group is critical in helping CIOs, portfolio managers, risk managers and other investment professionals stay current on BRS' latest risk management capabilities relevant to their business function. The Director within the Client Analytics Group will be a key contributor to ensuring that clients are fully leveraging the Aladdin Analytics and Risk Management platform and also be a contributor to supporting our clients' unique analytics needs. Each team member is tasked with understanding client requests and proactively offering new and comprehensive ways to leverage the risk analytics platform.

Purpose and Scope:

The Client Analytics Group is actively seeking a Director to help manage a set of clients in the Insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Lead engagement with senior investment and risk management professionals at our clients and prospective clients
  • Manage strategic analytics projects in partnership with clients with in-depth understanding of client objectives, trading strategies and market events
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives, including developing market and industry insights leveraging Aladdin capabilities and influencing the investment tools and analytics product roadmaps
  • Represent and advocate for clients in driving Aladdin development and institutionalizing solutions to client problems
  • Develop and execute development and engagement strategy at client industry level to both grow the business and help clients navigate industry-specific trends and challenges
  • Manage a team of junior individuals, providing day-to-day business leadership, mentorship and career guidance
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in an investments, financial technology, consulting, and/or risk management role.
  • Prior experience in an insurance company focused on asset and liability management is highly desirable
  • Strong subject matter expertise in ALM, risk management, equities or fixed income is desirable
  • Academic degree in Business Management, Financial Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or some other quantitative field of study
  • CFA/FRM designation or progress towards CFA/FRM designation a plus
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts simply and clearly to clients
  • Outstanding business achievements at his / her firm and demonstrated strong leadership qualities
  • Knowledge of various analytics systems/tools and their underlying financial models is desirable. Strong interest in multi-asset risk modeling and asset allocation
  • Excellent problem solving abilities, and experience understanding complex issues
  • Enjoy a fast-paced, high-intensity environment. Work well as part of a team with minimal supervision. Well organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Keen client-focused spirit and willing to take on varied and broad responsibility
