JPMorgan Investor Services (IS) provides innovative custody, fund accounting and administration and securities services to the world's largest institutional investors, alternative asset managers and debt and equity issuers. Investor Services is a global industry leader with in excess of $17 trillion in assets under custody and leverages its scale and capabilities in more than 100 markets to help clients optimize efficiency, mitigate risk and enhance revenue through a broad range of investor services as well as securities clearance, collateral management and alternative investment services.
The Custody Product Risk team is looking to add a VP to help support the WHEM region. The role involves significant interaction with Sales & Client Management, Product Management, Operations, Legal, Compliance and Risk Management.
Key Responsibilities

· Ensure risk tolerance levels are approved, clearly defined and appropriately factored into risk-reward decisions
· Advise the business on risk considerations of strategy relating to product development, expansion/retrenchment; organizational initiatives; talent management
· Advise on control best practices and ensure gaps are mitigated, particularly where cross-business linkages exist
· Provide guidance on regulatory initiatives; interface with Regulators
· Design and implement risk awareness training programs
· Escalate emerging issues and matters requiring executive focus
· Develop/maintain Risk Policies; provide ongoing risk policy guidance and monitor business compliance
· Advise business in establishing/maintaining a comprehensive product guidelines framework to ensure appropriate risk/control focus and global consistency
· Review and approve NBIA/ABIAs and new deals
· Assist with structuring complex or non-standard transactions; drive global consistency across structures, terms & conditions as appropriate
· Implement key risk management initiatives

· In-depth end-to-end knowledge of the IS product companies
· Expertise across a broad range of risk categories such as Credit, Operational, Fiduciary, etc
· Ability to form new relationships with senior business/functional leaders
· Disciplined approach to managing processes and controls
· Self-starter able to prioritize key tasks effectively
· Thoughtful analytical skills; able to develop, clearly articulate conclusions
· Prior experience managing a team of seasoned individuals
