A growing investment firm is currently seeking a talented senior accountant to join their team. Responsibilities of the role include supporting the Director in the daily operations, monitoring and reporting for Private Debt in the New York Office.

A growing investment firm is currently seeking a talented senior accountant to join their team. Responsibilities of the role include supporting the Director in the daily operations, monitoring and reporting for Private Debt in the New York Office.  Liaising with internal and external business partners, responsibilities will consist of operating matters including preparing wire payments and organizing closing matters for transactions, accounting for the US subsidiaries, preparing financial statements, and working with the external tax provider on compliance.
Primary responsibilities include investment support, treasury & cash management, corporate accounting & tax compliance as well as investment accounting.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 5 years of experience in financial services, preferably private equity or private debt. A CPA or MBA is highly preferred but not required. He or she will be analytical, detail oriented, and have a proven record of driving results and meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.
