Project Management Senior

Position OverviewThe Project Management Senior role will be part of the Business Process Reengineering team within the Strategic Delivery Division. The Project Management Senior will manage and lead assigned process initiatives across the projects in the division. Responsible for design and development, as well as project management and financial analysis. Develops the annual plans to determine objectives, strategies and tactics to meet goals. Monitors marketplace and internal sales performance to best determine new product/promotion needs. Provides resolutions to an extensive range of complicated problems. Solutions are innovative, thorough and practicable. Works under limited direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion for adequacy in satisfying objectives. Represents the team as the principal contact on projects and often performs project leadership role. Interacts with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines.

Qualifications* 5-7 years related experience
* College Degree or equivalent experience
* Demonstrated ability to drive measurable business results through process and organization redesign/improvements
* Demonstrated ability to model quantitative impacts of change (e.g., quantify business benefit of a process improvement)
* Ability to work closely and partner with operational and technical counterparts
* Ability to support multiple concurrent efforts/projects in various capacities (lead one, while supporting others)
* Communication: proficient writing, presentation development, and speaking capabilities. Ability to interact and lead process initiatives with large, matrixed teams and diverse stakeholders
* Strong facilitation and project management skills
* Knowledge of Product/Software Development Lifecycle

Preferred Skills* Strategic thinking; focus on organizational efficiency and continuous improvement
* Ability to go beyond tweaking existing processes to conceptualize/implement new methods and approaches
* Analytical thinking and problem solving; able to amass/analyze/draw conclusions from large volumes of seemingly disparate data
* Ability to develop frameworks describing issues and alternatives simply yet eloquently along with alternatives and recommendations to solve the issues
* Ability to link business strategy, to business process architecture, to supporting technology and maintain clarity of linkage throughout a project lifecycle
* Relationship Management: ability to adapt to different styles and collaborate with business area leadership as a strategic partner to achieve goals
* Flexibility: comfortable with changing priorities in support of executive team needs
* Independent thinking: able to take initiative with general guidance and direction
* In addition to other qualifications, some knowledge of/experience in financial services or the mortgage market is strongly preferred
* Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
* Advanced studies/degree
* PMP Certification
