eFinancialCareers was the brainchild of John Benson and Angus McDonald, entrepreneurs from Financial News, the respected weekly newspaper, in 2000. The businesses were split in 2006 and sold in 2007. Financial News is now owned by Dow Jones, and eFinancialCareers forms part of the Dice Holdings group.
