The Digital & Information team is responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation's digital strategy, overseeing a diverse portfolio of ICT initiatives, and managing critical technology services including infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, data, IoT, and operational technology.
Your new role
As a Project Support Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of large-scale ICT and digital transformation projects. Working closely with project teams and delivery leaders, you will ensure project administration, reporting, governance, and documentation processes are maintained to a high standard.Your responsibilities will include coordinating project meetings, preparing reports, presentations and governance papers, maintaining project documentation and record management systems, supporting risk and issue management activities, and assisting with budgeting, procurement, time recording, and project administration tasks. You will also contribute to stakeholder engagement activities by coordinating meetings, events, communications, and supporting materials, helping project teams deliver outcomes efficiently and effectively.What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working within ICT or technology-focused projects.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 (Foundation certification preferred).
- Experience preparing project documentation, reports, presentations, and governance papers.
- Strong document management and record-keeping capabilities.
- Exposure to project risk, issue, budget, and reporting processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong organisational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and self-directed approach to work.
- 6-month contract from September 2026 to March 2027.
- $550 per day plus super.
- 38-hour work week.
- Hybrid working arrangements with 2-3 days in the office.
- Exposure to large-scale digital and technology programs.
