This company is now looking for a driven and experienced Senior Accountant to work in their CBD Fringe suburb office. Your new role
As the Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include you managing the preparation of diligent and punctual reports and statements and maintaining a complete and accurately reconciled general ledger for the company.Your main duties will include:
- Leading by example. Aligning team members to work together efficiently and effectively, providing support and leaning on your experience in a similar role to successfully train and guide your team.
- Taxation reporting and advising. Upholding all tax reporting obligations in accordance with the relevant jurisdictions and legislation, including GST payments, BAS preparation, FBT and payroll taxes.
- Optimising processes and outcomes. Through constant review and analysis of operations, you will ensure the highest quality of business processes to achieve optimum outcomes.
- Financial statements and management reporting. Maintaining overall integrity, reliability and accuracy of all statements and reports. Applying your knowledge and skills to provide accurate an timely reporting to senior executives.
What you'll need to succeed
As the Senior Accountant, you will have demonstrated skills in leadership and people management, through leading teams in a similar role or field, your success will draw on your ability to think on your feet and delegate tasks as a team leader. The ideal applicant will have experience as a chartered accountant, preferably have completed or are on track to complete your CA/CPA and demonstrate exceptional work ethic and the drive to develop themselves and their careers in a dynamic industry.
