Provide strong financial stewardship and change leadership, and be responsible for the financial governance, policy and practice within the NLA.
The National Library of Australia is looking for an experienced and driven finance professional to join our team.
As Chief Finance Officer and Director of Finance, you will provide strong financial stewardship and change leadership, being responsible for the financial governance, policy and practice within the Library. You will strategically plan, manage and report on the Library’s financial management arrangements and performance, while assuring that the Library’s financial management policy and practice aligns with legislative and regulatory requirements and reflects contemporary practice.
You will have a strong track record of achievement in framing financial strategies and resource management practices. You achieve outcomes, drive change and resolve complex issues, as well as have excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills. You are resilient, and able to work effectively under pressure.
Appropriate accounting qualifications and full membership of a professional accounting body (or willingness to attain membership) and security clearance at NV1 level (ability to obtain and maintain at this level) are required.
