As the Senior Analytics Data Engineer you will manage, plan, and coordinate information management and analytical activities to provide our internal customers better insights, better data access to support their initiatives.
We have a strong dependency on data around the Fund and we need someone to take control of the Analytics data environment we operate, across all member facing functions requiring data.
You'll connect with Analysts to understand their needs, then work out ways to develop the data tools and process to drive our data sourcing, support improvements the data flow and will build this out. You will:
- Build and maintain a data pipeline that is trustworthy and reliable.
- Ensure we are capturing the right data from the right sources and make it available to the team.
- Help answer the business' most pressing questions in repeatable, reliable ways.
- Build tools and teach people how to find answers to their own questions
Someone who thrives in ambiguous data environments - you love to analyse complex data (structured and unstructured), have a statistical and analytical mindset coupled with the ability to develop dashboards and visualisations to identify insights. Actionable insights!
Demonstrated success supporting an analytics function, from data collection, processing and visualisation technologies.
You have data modelling skills, data integration experience and a working knowledge of data warehousing. Experience writing complex SQL using MS SQL Server, SAS Base programming, SAS Enterprise Guide, Tableau, understanding of R and Python viewed favourably.
Ability to build strong working relationships internally and with third parties to take pain away from data sourcing.
