Chief Data Officer

Drive and deliver on data driven initiatives to strategically enhance business performance and opportunities in this newly created senior position.

The Chief Data Officer (CDO) is primarily accountable to ensure Cbus operates as a data-driven fund, capitalising on the value of its data as a strategic asset to generate greater investment returns and enable greater business opportunities while balancing risk and regulatory requirements.

The role will be operating in a business that is experiencing accelerated growth in members, funds under management (FUM) and business size, scale and services delivered, where an emphasis on digital, creative customer centric and organisational excellence solutions is highly valued. To be successful we need you to define and execute the Cbus enterprise data strategy.

We are requiring a senior professional with 10+ years’ experience in leadership roles across data, technology, data project/program delivery and consultancy.

In addition you have the ability to identify strategic and operational issues based on data driven methods with extensive experience working across analytics, data modelling, information management and data systems (data structures, data warehouse, interfaces and data marts) and an understanding and experience in the use of analytics tools such as Python, R, Oracle, SQL, Talend, Tableau etc.
