Our client is a leading Real Estate Investment Management firm with an exceptional and significant track record investing in equity and debt across the entire property spectrum - including core, opportunistic and value-add strategies. With continued growth and strong momentum, they are looking to add a Director, Institutional Capital Raising based in either Melbourne or Sydney.
Reporting to the Head of Institutional Capital you will be accountable for raising capital from institutional investors in global and domestic markets to invest in the various real estate equity and credit strategies. You will work in closely with the broader Capital, Investment and Marketing teams to develop and implement a range of strategies to increase funds under management, market share, and maximise associated revenue. Responsibilities include participating in group sales strategy and developing a clear marketing plan (in conjunction with management) with defined priorities and market penetration goals. In addition, you will work to improve investment commitments from existing clients and maintain & update investor CRM with investor contacts and connectivity.
You will have a working knowledge of global real estate investment markets, product development, and process management and demonstrate high performance leadership skills and deep connections into the global and domestic institutional investor market.
Key requirements for this role include:
• 8-10 years+ experience in Institutional Sales with a demonstrable sales track record
• Ability to manage internal/external client relationships and needs across multiple geographic regions and time zones
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
• Well organised and highly motivated with strong attention to detail and work ethic
• Desire to participate and interact across all levels to formulate and execute sales strategies
• Relevant tertiary/post-graduation education qualifications
