We are seeking a passionate, Australian equities investor looking to bring great ideas to the investment table and ply their trade. With a demonstrable track record as a Portfolio Manager or Senior Investment Analyst (with verifiable attribution) this is a great opportunity to join a small team as an Investor where there is captured capital pool of funds to invest with no capital raising duties etc to take your eye off the ball and focus on what you do best – INVEST!; or potentially as a leader / mentor within the Australian Equities team.
Depending on the seniority of the candidate, you will report to the CIO and be responsible for portfolio management, fundamental research analysis with the potential to lead a small team.
Key to this role will be your investment judgement, investment and decision making process and analytical prowess. You will have well-honed, rigorous equity research and company analysis skills in order to bring the best of breed investment ideas across the Australian equity universe.
You will be a team player who contributes not only to the development and success of the listed equities team, but also the broader multi asset team. You will have a strong work ethic and desire for contributing to successful performance.
The successful candidate will have appropriate post-graduate and/or professional qualifications coupled with relevant Australian equities portfolio management and equity analysis experience. Your experience may have been with a fund manager, stockbroker or investment firm. Essential to your success will be your high attention to detail together with an ability to work as part of a small, highly focused team.
