Leading consultancy firm requiring a credit operations manager to join and grow their Melbourne team!

Your new role
As a Senior Leader and forming part the leadership team of the Mortgage Operations Unit your duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Manage teams performing various processes which are critical operations in Mortgage and Retail Loans area
  • Keep all operational guidelines updated and ensure adherence to standards, procedures and also identify risk mitigants wherever there is a control issue
  • Complete ownership of the team and in addition to guiding and providing leadership support to ensure good working relationship and develop leadership pipeline
  • Interacting with client leadership as part of business, help in setting up new accounts and stabilize them
  • Manage and participate in various management reviews and ensure thorough understanding of the upstream and downstream process implications and provide clear directions to the team
  • Conduct regular operational performance reviews and participate in monthly self-assessments
  • Effectively manage risk and foster an environment where team is fully aware of Operational Risk Management.
  • Develop relationship and credibility with onshore/nearshore/offshore locations and all internal/external stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
  • Strong experience in managing Mortgage Credit Operations across various banking channels
  • Possess excellent people and client management skills
  • Leadership experience in a similar environment
  • Working knowledge of implementing regulatory requirement guidelines in accordance to ASIC, APRA, Royal Commission
