Java Development & Support

Design, code, test, implement, maintain and support applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS architectural standards.

What you will be doing:

  • Provides application software development services and support
  • Develop program logic for new applications or modify logic in existing applications
  • Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented
  • Demonstrates an understanding of FIS systems.
  • Analyse requirements and translates business requirements into product designs.

  • Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles in development and support
  • Excellent customer service skills to build high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organisation
  • Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources
Technical Expertise in:
  • Java, J2EE, JBOSS Application Server
  • SQL, Windows & Linux, Maven, Junit
  • Knowledge of the Infinity Process Platform (Highly Desirable)
  • Jenkins (Highly Desirable)
  • GIT, JIRA (Highly Desirable)
  • Apache Camel or similar message routing frameworks (Highly desirable).
  • Spring Framework (Highly desirable)
