Our Team & Opportunity

The past 18 months have seen significant transformation for Vanguard Australia in business strategy and in the discipline of Marketing. A strategy of growth will see Vanguard Australia expand its offer across both the Intermediary (B2B) and the Direct to Investor (B2C) strategies, we've appointed our first Global Chief Marketing Office and established Marketing now a standalone function with a growth agenda. As part of this transformation we are looking for a Intermediary Marketing Lead.

This role will join our newly formed VIA intermediary Marketing team and will play an integral role shaping the future state of our business . The Intermediary Marketing Lead will lead client marketing plans while applying functional expertise to drive results, implement customer-specific marketing initiatives and evaluate the success of marketing initiatives by analysing key customer insights.

What you will do
  • Lead the Intermediary client marketing programs and initiatives, translating business objectives into defined marketing goals, strategies, and tactics.
  • Identify marketing opportunities based on intermediary client segmentation analysis and insights to drive engagement, retention, and new business opportunities
  • Develop the intermediary marketing strategy based on detailed segmentation to identify areas of greatest impact
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the intermediary business, clients and regulatory environment to enhance marketing effectiveness.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks on client marketing activities, communicating solutions on key issues to the intermediary leadership team and stakeholders
What we are looking for
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing or a related field is desirable and any relevant post graduate qualifications would be highly regarded
  • Experience leading B2B marketing programs and initiatives through intermediary channels
  • An executive stakeholder management skillset with a demonstrated ability to engage, build relationships and influence local and global stakeholders
  • Significant experience is leading and transforming B2B marketing strategies
  • Proven ability to interpret and absorb data and translate into strategic recommendations
  • Broad knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly Wealth Management would be highly regarded
