Payroll Officer/ HR Administrator - Part Time
Our client is an innovative and established business located in Melbourne's South Eastern suburb of Clayton. Working within a small team environment, this rare opportunity will see the successful candidate step outside the realm of Payroll and contribute significantly to other areas within the business. Bringing a positive and proactive attitude coupled with a proven background in Payroll, the successful candidate will predominately be responsible for;
  • Processing weekly payroll for approximately 50 staff members
  • Ensuring the correct application of relevant awards and enterprise bargaining agreements
  • Processing superannuation, payroll tax and other statutory requirements
  • Manage employee payroll enquiries
  • Maintenance and management of employee files and administrating the on-boarding process of new staff
  • Provide general HR administrative support (e.g. recruitment, training etc)
  • Assist the Business Development Manager with tasks such as; implementing new systems and processes, provide marketing support and development of policies and procedures
The successful candidate will possess;
  • Proven experience in end to end payroll is paramount
  • Prior experience using MYOB is advantageous
  • Experience in an HR support role is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of Payroll obligations and relevant legislation
  • A high level of attention to detail
