Program Manager
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager for our Experian Decision Analytics team. This role will provide you with an exceptional opportunity to lead and manage a diverse portfolio of projects for our market leading clients. You will be stepping into this role as mentor, working closely with a team of senior project managers to ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a key member of the Australia/New Zealand Decision Analytics Delivery leadership team
  • Guide the Experian Decision Analytics Project and Test Management team
    • Drive a culture of success
    • Management of the team resource plan
    • Mentor project managers in project management best practice
    • Ensure high standards of successful project delivery are maintained
    • Ensure the team meets its organisationally committed KPIs (for Gross Margin, chargeable utilisation, maintain a high client NPS)

  • Deliver and manage large Decision Analytics programs/projects in line with Experian Decision Analytics project management methodology
    • Thorough understanding of project management phases, techniques and tools
    • Effectively manage project scope by ensuring that any changes to scope are documented and approved in line with Change Request Methodology
    • Effectively manage project risks and issues, identifying solutions to meet productivity, quality and customer goals
    • Clearly communicate expectations to clients' team members and stakeholder
    • Resolve conflicts; and create lasting, productive partnerships with stakeholders (internal and external) at all levels.
    • Monitor progress of projects to ensure milestones and key indicators are met
    • Conduct regular reviews and produce weekly updates highlighting
    • Track against contracts schedules or statements of work and advise when invoicing points are due. Advise management and finance of revenue recognition points.
    • Obtain acceptance certificates or project sign off for each milestone or schedule. Develop, implement and maintain project management best practices. Ensure post project reviews are completed and recommendations made for improvement
    • Ensure that post project lessons learnt are recognised, documented and circulated to enable us to capitalise on each project experience where appropriate.
    • Strong and current awareness of external trends and best practices

Skills & Experience

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Line management experience for supervisory and facilitation of projects
  • Experience within a large, complex organisation
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong ability to facilitate change and influence a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Previous experience of working in a financial services environment
  • Extensive Project Management experience, including knowledge of managing major, cross divisional projects
  • Proven track record of successful delivery of multi stream technology projects from initiation through to full project acceptance
  • Advanced knowledge of program/project planning/PMO processes
  • Technology infrastructure project experience and/or knowledge of software development methods
  • Extensive negotiating and influencing skills
  • Strong communication skills to effectively work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Interpretation of technical features into commercial benefits
  • Comprehensive understanding of product range
  • Advanced related experience in a high expectations environment


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Project Management Professional qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL) desirable
