Your new role
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a busy finance team. Working within a medium to large business environment, you will be responsible for ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and payments are made on time.Key responsibilities include:
- Processing high-volume supplier invoices
- Matching, batching, and coding invoices
- Managing supplier queries and reconciliations
- Preparing payment runs and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with month-end AP activities and reporting
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Previous Accounts Payable experience within a medium to large organisation
- Experience processing high-volume invoices
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience using ERP or larger finance systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Pronto, Dynamics, or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
