How will I help?
The Executive Manager, Governance and Regulatory Response
, is responsible for managing the Divisional CRO response to regulatory challenges and board and committee requirements.
In line with our Culture, Governance and Accountability action plan, they will be responsible for enhancing governance practices, improving key risk reporting and analysis, and elevating oversight of non-financial risks.
What will I be doing day-to-day?
You will be responsible for enhancing and improving the quality of reporting to risk committees, ensuring papers provide an informative summary of key risks and issues, and highlight underlying assumptions;
You will also support the Divisional CRO team in preparation for committees, including developing reports, undertaking analysis, preparing briefing notes and managing responses for senior committees including the Consumer Division Risk Committee, Group Executive Risk Committee and Board Risk and Compliance Committee.
As part of your role you will: - Support adoption of Risk Management Frameworks and Risk Taxonomy;
Support processes to identify new, emerging and heightened risks;
Support the Divisional CRO office in executing on key programs of work and responding to Group CRO initiatives;
Track regulatory notices and responses relevant to Consumer Division;
Proactively contribute to the CRO Consumer Division LT, defining and delivering leading thought leadership, capability and activities for Risk.

What do I need?
You will be a seasoned risk professional with a minimum of 7 years' experience in risk management and/or Compliance.
You must have previous experience in managing regulatory initiatives or risk governance would be an advantage
A demonstrated ability in risk oversight and governance in a range of risk types
Practical experience in dealing with operational process and procedure in financial services environment
