Join a purpose-led organisation undergoing an important period of digital and technology transformation. With several strategic initiatives underway, the organisation is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to provide structure, delivery leadership and stakeholder coordination across a varied portfolio of technology projects.
Your new role
You will initially lead the progression of a Microsoft-based technology initiative currently in the RFQ evaluation stage. Working closely with internal stakeholders and prospective vendors, you will support discovery, solution definition, business case development, investment approval and implementation planning.
You will also coordinate a Digital Strategy and Technology Roadmap engagement delivered by an external consulting partner, ensuring workshops, actions, dependencies and stakeholder participation remain on track. In parallel, you will help prioritise continuous improvement activities across the Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing project plans, schedules, risks, issues and status reporting
- Supporting project definition, business cases and implementation planning
- Establishing governance and delivery readiness
- Managing vendors, RFQ evaluation and discovery activities
- Coordinating Dynamics 365 continuous improvement priorities
- Maintaining project and backlog visibility using Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Facilitating workshops, meetings and stakeholder engagement
- Preparing executive updates, steering committee papers and governance artefacts
- Proven IT project management experience across technology or digital transformation
- Experience managing vendors, RFQs, discovery and implementation planning
- Strong stakeholder management, planning and facilitation skills
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure DevOps, Jira or similar platforms
- Experience preparing business cases, executive presentations and governance reporting
- Ability to work independently, establish structure quickly and drive outcomes
This is an opportunity to make an immediate impact across several visible digital initiatives. You will take ownership of meaningful project outcomes, engage with senior stakeholders and help establish delivery-ready plans during a key period of transition. The engagement is expected to run for approximately 10 weeks and is available for an immediate start.
