Investment Analyst opportunity with a newly established Private Investment Fund in Sydney. 2-3 years transactional M&A experience and strong financial modelling skills required. Excellent entry point to an investment fund.

Our client is a newly formed Private Equity firm, with a growth capital focus. The founder has a strong record of investing in growth capital and ownership succession. The firm has an active investment style and the team have a mandate to invest across an exciting range of sectors including consumer and retail. In addition to capital you will provide operational support and create a lasting impact. Joining the team, you will have exposure from day one across all aspects of investing and portfolio work. 

This role represents an excellent entry point to an investment fund and will provide the successful applicant with genuine firsthand exposure to operating businesses and investment processes.

Candidates will ideally have 2-3 years’ experience in M&A at an investment bank, leading independent firm or top tier CA firm. You will have gained solid exposure to end to end M&A transactions and will have sound technical financial modelling and analytical skills. You will also be able to articulate your genuine interest in investing and the workings of operational businesses, will have first class interpersonal skills and will be someone who is confident but ‘down to earth’ as you will gain early exposure to investee companies and their founders.
