Do you want to work on the most data-rich platform in the world? Do you have the skills necessary to lead a high-performing Engineering team working on a system which receives100x more queries than Google? Want to be part of a mission to create a better, more open Internet for everyone? If so, read on....

This role will sit within the firm's core development team and will see lead the design, development and delivery of real-time, ultra-low-latency web-based solutions on a product driven, end-to-end basis. This means you will touch on (take responsibility for) the entire tech-stack front-to-back. As such, experience and interest working on a variety of layers and technologies within a SOA environment is a must.

You lead a small (2-3 person) Agile team from a wider engineering presence of 30. The Core Engineering Team are responsible for the firm's core platform, the project work will revolve around Performance Optimisation and improvements. The core system processes over 8M transactions per second (600B per day) as such, experience delivering systems which are highly transactional in nature or on high-traffic public facing sites is a must. Due to the size, structure and fluidity of environment, experience working in both small/start-up & larger, more structured environments would be beneficial.

From a Lead/Management perspective, you must be skilled at empowering a high performing Engineering team whilst also leading from the front (from a hands-on coding point of view).

The firm operate out the outer limits of throughput and scale, to ensure they are best placed to solve future technical challenges they must equip themselves with the best problem-solving minds available. As a result, their Tech Leads must work to create an inclusive and diverse culture where all ideas put forward are done so with confidence and are given equal merit regardless or source.

As well as exceptionally interesting technical challenges, an awarding willing culture and the opportunity to work with the best (ego-less) technologists in the business, the company can offer market leading remuneration packages for the right candidates - which includes stock options (the price of which have increased by over 3100% since the company floated in 2016*).
