In this new opportunity, you are part of a critical activity which manages and performs the end to end enterprise wide stress testing of Westpac's risks, financial performance, balance sheet, funding and capital requirements. In doing so, you will make a significant contribution to business and strategic decision making at all levels of Westpac, including Executive Management and Board levels.
You will provide governance and establish operational management and control over the entire end to end Stress Testing process as well as ensuring that there are appropriate Policies, Frameworks and documented Roles and Responsibilities (RACI) for each contributing entity to the process.
Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining policy and framework documents, review and approvals as necessary and delievering governance requirements for the end to end process of the Stress Testing cycle. This will include planning and documenting the timing of each stress test cycle, monitoring and controlling the process including establishing proper controls over the aggregation and reporting of results. In addition, you will also manage a programme of improvements to the stress testing capabilities of Westpac. What's in it for me?

What is it like to work there?
- At least 8 years' experience in risk, finance or operations related to Banking and Financial Services .
- Strong understanding of governance requirements and established reporting skills..
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work within a high performing team
- Strong attention to and ability to absorb detail and complexity
