Senior Accountant

Your new role As the Senior Accountant you play an influential role by supporting the Finance Manager in producing accurate and timely financial information, with specific focus on GL management, Sox implementation, external audits and reporting.
Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
- Perform month end reporting including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement;
- Review manual journal entries prepared by other team members;
- Prepare financial statements and reconciliations;
- Optimize tax, payments and reporting including BAS, GST, PAYG, Payroll tax and FBT
- Ensure integrity of sub-ledgers in Pronto and managing the reporting structure;
- Contribute efficiently and effectively to the ongoing SOX implementation and ensuring SOX compliance going forward;
- Supervise and review junior employees including Accounts Payable & Receivable.
What you'll need to succeed - You will be CA/CPA qualified;
- You will have previous experience in a multinational organisation with Technology/Telco industry experience highly advantageous;
- You will have working knowledge of IFRS16/ USGAAP/SOX;
- Previous experience with Pronto is highly regarded;
- Advanced Excel skills are a must
- You will be a go getter with an ambitious streak
- You will have excellent communications with a collaborative nature
