APRA is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Data Collection Design team within our Risk and Data Analytics Division.

APRA is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Data Collection Design team within our Risk and Data Analytics Division. As part of the team you will gain a unique perspective across the finance industry as you contribute to the design of new data collection standards that are fundamental to APRA delivering on its strategy.

The Senior Analyst will play a key role in ensuring APRA collects the appropriate data in order to inform and support core APRA functions and responsibilities, in conjunction with agencies such as the RBA and ABS, along with regulated institutions.

In this role you will develop and maintain our data taxonomy, understand the data requirements of internal stakeholders, and be heavily involved in our data transformation project and data strategy.

This role offers the opportunity to take part in important projects with a reach across the Australian financial system, in an area undergoing significant change.

The successful candidate will likely have a background in business analysis, along with an understanding of data concepts and structure.

This role has a very broad footprint, so excellent stakeholder management communication skills are a must. Strong project and priority management skills are essential and a history of working in high performing teams will be highly regarded.
