Senior C# Developer

Our leading Fintech client is evolving their core technology platform, and is seeking an experienced developer to lead the design and development of a group of microservices to deliver the key functionality to the product offerings.

By utilizing multiple technologies to deliver the microservices platform including .NET Core/ C# services, you will be responsible for the development and ownership of the microservices product, and ensuring that innovation, scalability and cutting edge are at the heart of your development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Taking ownership and building the microservices using API's, business logic and data layers
  • Coordinating with the architecture, quality assurance, and product management teams
  • Assist with project scope and time-to-delivery estimation
  • The maintenance and publication of API document for internal and external clients
  • Assisting with the developing team and their processes as well as supporting other service owners in their project development.

Essential experience
  • 5 year minimum experience with .NET C# development in a range of roles particularly within the management of wealth or trading/superannuation in financial services.
  • Experience working as an entrepreneur or business owner/ product owner
  • Ability to work as a cross-functional developer in multiple different project developments
  • Working within a collaborative, and communicative environment in which he is able to maintain the relationship and understand the gap between the IT and businesss stakeholders
  • Ability to develop and communicate a directive plan towards their development and ensure that their supporting team can clearly understand this roadmap
  • Commercial experience in utilizing backend frameworks in .NET Core and C#, SQL Server, and key Front End tools in JavaScript and Angualr 1 & 2.
  • Must have experience using WebAPI's
