Your new role

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Responsible for managing the Operations of key aspects of Tax. Providing support to the Service Line leaders of each group to drive financial performance to minimise their administrative burden and allow maximum time to spend in the market;
  • Assist in completing the annual Business Plan for Tax and associated service lines and reporting against KPI’s;
  • Awareness of Markets & Operations and firm business support services and direct workflow where required; Create awareness of firm & business support services available;
  • Support Deals, Tax & Legal Finance Business partners in following up on financial performance matters and practice management issues;
  • Work with resource management and partners to assist with resource business cases;
  • Implementation of appropriate local and national policy and procedures;
  • Asset management and overhead auditing;
  • Improvement of administrative processes to free up managers for BD and Client Work;
  • Manage on-boarding and off boarding of staff for respective businesses;
  • Input into execution of L&D training plan;
  • Assist leaders to prepare presentations for Partner and Operations Meetings, schedule leadership meetings and prepare agendas, papers and action items.
  • Delivery and execution of state leader initiatives including end-to-end delivery of community and networking events

You bring to the role
  • Intermediate â€" Advanced MS office skills (Word, PowerPoint & Excel). Learn and become proficient in the firm’s management systems as needed
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Good planning and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to liaise with staff and clients at all levels
  • Strong judgement and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision, balance priorities and tight deadlines
  • Not afraid to challenge the status quo
