Our client, an investment management firm with $1 trillion in funds under management globally, are seeking to add an experienced investment analyst to their expanding team. The business has doubled their FUM locally over the past year, and due to continued headcount growth and internal progression, a rare opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to join in a senior capacity.

As part of the Australian Equities team, you will be jointly responsible for over $5 billion worth of investment funds, with a focus on your specific verticals but contributing to a collaborative decision process. Creativity on investment ideas is encouraged, as is utilisation of the firm’s resources globally – you will work together with your peers overseas to maximise each market’s potential. You are also encouraged to attend industry events, as well as exploiting all opportunities for corporate access, and you will partner with senior decision makers in building stock positions.

For this role, you will be an experienced investor with at least five years, but preferably closer to ten years’ worth of stock-picking and idea generation experience. You will be well regarded in the industry, and able to build valuable and robust relationships amongst relevant external stakeholders and internal colleagues. You will have exceptional financial modelling skills, and will have strong personal attribution, and importantly you will be motivated by the daily responsibilities and challenges that an investment analyst meets. Knowledge of the healthcare sector would be advantageous, but not essential.

The challenge of successfully integrating into a truly global investment manager and proving your talent by creating additional alpha for a well performing unit is on offer, with achievement of your professional targets being duly rewarded in a genuinely meritocratic environment.

You must have Australian working rights to apply for this role.
