Wealth Management Finance (WM Finance) supports the Senior Leadership Team of the Colonial First State (CFS) business under the Deputy CEO Office to manage and grow its superannuation and platform businesses

The team adds value to the Group by:
  • Driving behaviours across CFS to achieve strategic financial objectives
  • Providing financial leadership in determining strategic business direction and aligned financial strategies
  • Being an integral part of a dedicated team that provides strategic and tactical financial leadership to support the CFS executives and CBA senior executives

Do work that matters
  • Focus on providing finance business partnering support on the business strategy, decision marking and project support for CFS business. Apart from the primary responsibility, focus on both the internal and external environment, provide finance and business thought leadership with a balanced view on products and services, risk management, operations, regulatory environment and industry trends
  • Project support for business, work with the CFS strategy team together with the relevant stakeholders for the annual Group Change Investment Process (CIP) to prioritise the internal investments, provide support in reviewing business cases and also the implementation of the projects
  • Support the business annual planning and strategy review processes, and assist in delivering consolidated views and scenarios to the business
  • Ensure integrity of financial data and reporting and maintain financial controls and relevant framework appropriate to the business. Adhere to the compliance of Group policies including Group Reconciliation Policy
  • Develop the team's expertise and commercial understanding of the business and their ability to apply the learnings across different situations and environment

We're interested in hearing from people who possess
  • Experienced in wealth management and/or financial services industry
  • Highly competent in project management
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with senior business stakeholders, external parties including boards and regulatory companies
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and senior stakeholder engagement
  • Analytical skills and commercial acumen
