Our Global Client Solutions (GCS) leads banking relationship management and the provision of transaction banking, risk management and capital solutions to our clients. The team's purpose is to provide IB&M clients with solutions across the financing spectrum to support their strategic objectives.

The Risk & Control Governance, Planning & Reporting team is responsible for ensuring that decisions relating to the non-financial risk and controls environment are well informed, timely and appropriately socialised. They achieve this through monitoring data quality, providing risk insights, reporting, interactions with Line 2, and ensuring each BU LT has the right level of comfort and governance within their risk environment.

Brand new opportunity reporting into our Executive Manager and managing a dedicated team of Managers and Analysts as Senior Manager Risk & Control Governance, Planning & Reporting you'll have the chance to actively input to and engage in the strategic planning process by taking accountability for providing data driven insights and market/industry research to help drive critical risk thinking. The role will see you provide senior leaders with advice and recommended courses of action on operational risk and control profiles, issues, incidents and other matters and manage complaints where applicable.

The role will see lead, coach and motivate a team of risk professional's role model effective risk management and to influence stakeholders to adopt similar practices with their BU/SU.

We're interested in hearing from people who have
  • Demonstrated experience in governance, risk management and compliance concepts processes within banking or financial services.
  • Experience across lending or leasing products or institutional highly regarded.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including expectation setting, coaching, and performance management.
  • Influencing and consulting skills, the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to think critically and analytically and use data driven insights to solve problems.
