    How will I help?
    You will play a crucial part in supporting the Enterprise Compliance Monitoring and Surveillance Team (EC M&S) and support key stakeholders and assist with the identification of risk indicators and you'll always be looking for ways to do things better and more efficiently.
    Reporting to the Head of Monitoring & Surveillance, you'll also assist with the identification of risk indicators where data analytics could automate alerts for the proactive identification of real or emerging compliance risk. Key outcomes include
  • Contribute to the ongoing tactical prototype builds, and strategic projects and activities to develop and enhance Surveillance
  • Preparing and presenting analysis such as feasibility and cost benefit of data and software solutions to meet Line 2 Monitoring and Surveillance requirements.
  • Contribute to the end to end design, including but not limited to, data identification, ingestion, and implementation of back end function, provide insightful analytics, and develop front end reporting screens and dash boards

    What do I need?
    Proven experience across Compliance is a must, you'll have had hands-on experience with compliance frameworks (including the three lines of defence), as well as the legal obligations of financial services. In fact, previous experience in the Banking and Financial Services sector would give you a huge advantage. You'll also need -
  • Tertiary qualified or equivalent in a relevant business discipline, Engineering/Computer Science/Data Science/Quantitative Finance
  • Background in Linux/Unix, KDB /q, SQL, Python, Tableau, VBA
  • Algorithmic/mathematical background
  • Knowledge of C/C#, R, Apache Software, Elastic Stack is also welcome
