Senior Analyst, Enterprise Stress Testing - Execution & Aggregation

How will I help?

In this new opportunity, you are part of a critical activity which manages and performs the end to end enterprise wide stress testing of Westpac's risks, financial performance, balance sheet, funding and capital requirements. In doing so, you will make a significant contribution to business and strategic decision making at all levels of Westpac, including Executive Management and Board levels.

You will assist with the production of Stress Test results whilst being involved in the development of the plan for Stress Testing cycles, establishing timescales and critical paths for the delivery of requirements. This includes scenario development, collection of inputs, calculation using developed models, aggregation, reporting and aggregation of results. In addition, you will contribute to review, anaysis and providing insights to senior management on the outcomes of the stress test results.

What do I need?

Along with good knowledge of financial markets, systems infrastructure and internal/external reporting, we are looking for:

  • At least 5 years' experience in banking or financial services.
  • High level of numeracy and ability to understand complex subject matters.
  • Ability to understand, develop and run complex spreadsheets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to be part of a high performing team
