Treasury System Support Analyst

The role
FIS' Sydney based team, responsible for supporting our market leading corporate treasury SaaS solution, is looking for a Support Analyst to join to join the Global Support Team.
Working closely with Regional Support Teams and the Development Teams you will analyse and process issues logged by clients using the Integrity Treasury product.
Use your Treasury Settlements experience to change career path into the financial technology field. In time, you may move into many other areas associated with software development such as Business Analysts or Software Deliver Managers as your career progresses.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze logged issues, verify against released functionality.
Resolve difficult or complex user enquiries and problems.
Driving product quality through identifying gaps in regression coverage based on issues logged
Act as a focal point for the Regional Distributors and clients.
Ensure a consistent, high level of service is delivered to the Regional Distributors through clear communication and coordination.
Participate in the process of new system functionality development.
Work closely with Development Team to resolve issues and monitor the progress of issues through the process to completion.
Where appropriate mentor, train and coach others.
Develop an understanding of departmental priorities and translate these into personal business objectives.
Client upgrade testing for new version releases.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERTISE:
Required
Minimum 5 years Treasury or other relevant financial market knowledge and experience. Background in Back Office Settlements / Processing would be an advantage.
Sound analytical, decision making and problem solving skills.
Well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Customer service orientation.
Able to communicate functional concepts concisely and effectively.
A high degree of numeracy and a capacity for complex concepts
A positive, proactive and professional attitude
Maintain a focus on excellence.

Desirable
Familiarity with software implementations.
Accounting Experience - Standard Treasury Accounting as well as Hedge Accounting.
Experience with Integrity Treasury Solutions software or other comparable systems.
Able to communicate technical concepts concisely and effectively.
Exposure to SQL databases.
