  • Working closely with senior members of the practice to deliver comprehensive and commercial advice to a broad range of high profile clients
  • Assisting a diverse client base with the identification of stamp duty issues and solutions for mergers, acquisitions, takeovers, demergers, public floats, corporate reorganisations and rationalisations, due diligence and liquidations
  • Researching stamp duty legislation and case law
  • Delivering commercial and practical solutions to clients nationally

About you

You have a background working in an Australian Stamp Duty role. You have a proactive, commercial and solutions focused approach to all engagements and hold qualifications and experience in tax legislation with a solid grounding in Australia-wide stamp duty law. Skilled in developing relationships that allow you to build strong internal networks and collaborate across the firm with exceptional client skills and a demonstrated capability to build and maintain long term client relationships.

Passionate about being at the forefront of change, you're ready to help our Tax team navigate an increasingly complex tax environment for clients through innovative solutions.

You're collaborative and enjoy working in an innovative environment. You're a problem solver by nature and want to join a firm that values the kind of people who reimagine the possible for their clients and stakeholders. Most importantly, you act with integrity and show care for the people you work with.

We're committed to building and maintaining a diverse workforce because we know it's only by working together that we can realise the potential of our people, clients and society around us.

We're living this commitment through initiatives including our Reconciliation Action Plan to increase Indigenous employment and employee-led diversity networks promoting cultural, disability, LGBTI and gender equality. At our core we're a people business, which means you'll be supported not just in your professional development but your personal growth as well.
